Invitations to join an agency

When an agency invites an address that already has a ROK account, it joins only once the account's owner accepts. Where to find the invitation, what accepting does, and when to decline.

Your ROK account is yours. If you already have one — because you belong to another agency, or you signed up on the website — an agency that invites your address cannot add you on its own. It sends you an invitation instead, and you join only if you accept it.

Finding an invitation

  • By email. The message is titled "… invited you to join them on ROK" and links here. Sign in as you normally do; no new account is created.
  • In the console. A bar across the top reads "… invited you to join them" with a Review link while you have one open.
  • Without an agency yet. The "not in an agency yet" screen shows the invitation above the other options.

The page lists every open invitation addressed to you: the agency's name, who sent it, when it expires, and the groups you would join (or "the agency's default group" when it names none).

Accept

Select Accept and open. You join the agency with the groups shown and the console opens in it. If you belong to other agencies, you keep them all; switch between them from the agency menu as usual.

An acceptance can be refused, with the reason shown:

  • The agency has no seats left on its plan — ask its administrator to free one or upgrade, then accept again while the invitation is still open.
  • The person who invited you can no longer add members, or can no longer hand out one of the groups in the invitation — ask the agency to send a new one.
  • The invitation is no longer open — it expired (after seven days), was withdrawn, or was already answered.

Decline

Select Decline if you do not recognise the agency or do not want to join. The agency sees the invitation marked Declined; it gains nothing — no membership, no access to your account, no hold over your sign-in. It can invite you again later if you reconsider.

Nothing here?

"No open invitations" means there is nothing waiting for this account. The invitation may have expired or been withdrawn, or it went to a different address — check which email you signed in with, shown at the top of the page.
