Coverage
See how much published content each guide and sub-guide holds, spot empty areas, and find items that belong to no guide.
Coverage answers "is every operational area actually covered?" It counts the published content in each guide and sub-guide, flags the ones with nothing published, and lists every item that sits outside all guides. Open it from the sidebar: Reports → Coverage.
It is a report, not a workspace. Nothing on the page changes content; every guide and item links to its edit page, and loose items are filed on Organize (opens the admin console). The sidebar shows Coverage to people who hold Create content, Edit content or Publish.
Guides
One section per top-level guide, alphabetically. Each shows:
- The guide's accent colour and title. Select the title to open the guide.
- A status badge when the guide itself is not published.
- N published — the published items placed directly in the guide plus the published items in each of its sub-guides. An item that sits in two sub-guides is counted in both.
- The guide's short description, if it has one.
Below the heading:
| You see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| A card per sub-guide with a count | That sub-guide's published items. Select the card to open the sub-guide |
| A red card with a warning icon and No published content | A sub-guide with nothing published in it |
| "No sub-guides." | The guide has published items of its own and no sub-guides |
| "Empty guide — no published content." | The guide has no sub-guides and nothing published directly in it |
Only items count — articles, checklists, quizzes, video and audio. Sub-guides are not counted as items, and drafts or items in review add nothing until they are published.
Not in any guide
The last section lists every item that belongs to no guide, whatever its status, with its type and status. The red count beside the heading is how many there are; with none, it reads "Every item belongs to at least one guide."
These items are not reached through any guide in the operator app, and by default an item must belong to a guide before it can be published. Select one to open it, or file several at once on Organize (opens the admin console).
When the numbers update
The report is worked out in your browser from the content list the console loaded when you opened it, which refreshes whenever you save a change yourself. It does not update live: to pick up changes colleagues have made since, reload the page.
No guides yet
"No guides yet — create one from Content → New → Guide" means your agency has no guides to report on. Create one from New content (opens the admin console).
